Night Safari

Yesterday, my family and I went to Night Safari. I had great fun!!!!! :D

First, we ate at "Ulu Ulu Restaurant". I saw the 'food court' there. And boy, look at the prices!!!! I think that they charge about 3 times as much! One cup of kopi is FOUR dollars!!!!!! Wah~~~~ Obviously I never buy -.- I went to eat buffet which I think is a much more better choice. :D Halfway while eating, some tribe men came in dancing and beating drums. They were like half naked. So quite scary... XP I was damn scared that they would ask me to go and dance. Haha.

Then, we went to watch "Creatures Of The Night" show. The show was damn funny and interesting. There is one cat which is called Snowy I think. It has black spots on its body. It was supposed to just like parade around and go back. But apparently, Snowy refuses to go back and found herself attracted to grass. The emcee joke, "Snowy, you are NOT vegetarian." and "Her five minutes of fame is over." Haha. Real funny. Then some otters are supposed to like demostrate about recycling. But one otter wanted to inspect the metal can and did not want to put it in the recycling bin. When the trainer push the can to put it in, the otter would whimper. So cute~!!! :D Haha!!!!

Then, we sat on the tram that took us to look at the animals. Afterwards, we walked the Leopard Trail and saw LOTS of nocturnal animals. I took some photos too!!!!! :D We went to look at the bats. They were quite scary. XD Then, we sat on the tram again. After which, we took a taxi back home. :) The trip to Night Safari was FUN!

Hey guys! I made some jelly on the day before. Then, I ate it yesterday. And it turned out to be abit soggy. Cuz I added 100ml more water in case it was too sweet. XD I will rmb not to add too much water next time. :)

I just realised that I have only... 18 days left to my EOYs! I thought I still had like one week plus... :( I have to chiong sia. Haiz, I should have started earlier... Really regret. And I was having all kinds of trouble trying to type my history essay as I had brain lag... Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, just here to say.... JIAYOUS TO EVERYONE FOR END OF YEAR EXAMS!!!!

I feel like creating another blog, ya know? Like another one which shows the other side of myself... Meaning, like when I feel totally depressed... I can like write crap on the other blog. Cuz... (to my parents just in case they reading) I like cannot say my REAL feelings here. When I totally feel like scolding bad words or wadeva, my parents would come and see and then, lecture.... so yeah...

Yeah, lately, I have been feeling DEPRESSED.... I like... I feel like as if everything that I do is so meaningless and the results I get are bad, so, what's the use? There was once (a confession) when I felt like DYING. Scary right? Well, coincidentally, I had my period then and I lost 2 of my precious stuff. My softball glove (but found it in the end) and my wallet. My wallet was during the BBQ when I wrote bad stuff on this blog. Remember? I was crying when I was bathing. I felt life was damn meaningless and that it was only for us to suffer.... Yep, sounds kinda like depression. I even thought of the ways to die...... Kk, now I am freaking myself out too.... And to my parents if they see this: PLEASE don't give me some prep talk. Thanks. But I got over it. However, sometimes, I would still get that feeling...

My softball throwing is not good, so I am like feel like as if I am the black sheep of my team liddat. I feel like as if I am dragging them down. Actually, I need not be in the team cuz there is already enough team members.... And, yeah. But then, my friends are like always encouraging me, so that keeps me going. :D Thanks u gals.

Today, I made pizza using bread, sausage, green pepper, cheeze, tomatoes and the tomato paste. :) Was a great breakfast I must say so myself. Very fufilling. Lunch was chao kway teow. I think that that was an achievement. Today was one of the best days with my family I guess. Usually, I just dont feel like talking to them. Sometimes I find them irritating. XD But today was nice. :) Love it today! I suddenly feel like going to Genting this year!!!! :P

Oh yah, almost forgot. HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL!!!!!!! My school celebrated on Friday. Was soooooo fun!!!! But the concert, the centrestage finalist is like.... err... not good. I think her tune is okay but her voice no strength and she pronounciation no clear. I was thinking, "How did she win???" and Valen was at the back kicking my chair. D: Haha, but after I kept ignoring him, he stop. XD My belief: To deal with these kind of people, just ignore them. XP

green

I dunno why... but I have taken a sudden liking to the colour GREEN. Example, my new water bottle is.... GREEN. Yep, and the colour is kinda nice~ I have also had a coincidence with the colour as my pri school house colour is GREEN. Omg I feel like Geronimo Stilton whereby the word will have colour etc, heehee. :D

Here are some reasons why I think green is nice now:

1. Seems appealing to me now
2. Gives me a cool and calming feeling
3. Seems kinda groovy
4. Associated with nature and nature is BEAUTIFUL~
5. My new water bottle is green :D
6. I kinda prefer green to purple-like colours now
7. Green makes me feel SPECIAL

Heehee. XD Haiz, maybe I can like both green and purple??? LOL.

ikea.giant.courts.

Heyo! Went to Ikea, Giant and Courts on Saturday...

And here is the list of food I ate:
11.30am - Ate mee pok at Giant
1.30pm - Ate chicken wings at Ikea
4.30pm - Ate subway sandwich at Courts
7.30pm - Ate stingray, kangkong, kailan and fish, prawns

IMAGINE THAT! I ate 4 meals in 8 hours.
= 1 meal every 2 hours

Haha, no wonder when I reach home, I got stomachache while watching Boys over flowers. XD

Yesterday, my cousins and auntie came to my house to make jiao zi and siew mai!!!! :D Was so fun! We spent the time making siew mai and jiao zi of all kinds of shape and sizes. My bro made some SUPER skinny ones and we kept laughing. He made a siew mai containing ONLY carrots. But in the end, it was too dry to eat. :P

Then, I played cards with Iris and Ivy. I won only once. The rest of the time was focused on arguing with Ivy on whether Jihoo or Junpyo is more handsome. I asked Joelle today and she said Jihoo. Ha! (Ivy, I told ya!!!!) :D

Then, after eating curry with chicken (yummy) and the siew mai and jiao zi we made, we went to watch TV. Ivy showed me some videos of BOF's new series abt Anycall. LOL. Jihoo is so damn funny and cute. :) Then I took pics of Ivy and accidentally got flash. Ivy's expression was so funny that I kept laughing. Took some more pics and I commented on them. Most of them showed her looking fat. XD jkjk.

Played netball with some 1k gals today. Discussed some strategy etc. Excited for the interclass games!!!!!!!! :D

buffet

I had softball training today.

Was quite okay. Coach told my group to practice relay and we did a demo -.- Wonder why he chose us???? LOL. Anyway, the relay was quite fun. And I think I finally know how to throw, sorta. Amanda told me and I found it useful. She told me to push my arm back a bit more. I got more strength. Then, I cam throw better. :)

Did pepper batting and buntting. Then, the year ones need to help the senior demo running frm second to third base. heehee. I gt to third base!!! But I dunno whether I save or not... XD Ate cup noodles with Jingwen!!!!

Then, when going home, we sat in 158 with Germs and Yunning. We kept talking about anime that we forgot about Yunning. Sorrrryyyy!!!!! Then, after Germs got off, Jing wen slept. :P

Yesterday, my family brought me to Vienna at United Square. Ate and ate. The food was nice but there was not much variety. And my bro kept drinking from this tube glass thingy. Haha. Was fun and nice. Then my mum and I went to collect some voucher. And the sign said, "spent 50 dollar to get 2 tickets to XXX and a chance to win a Mitsubishi car (or wadeva) OR $1000 shopping vouchers". I told my mum to get the shopping vouchers obviously. Later I then realised that actually the sign said, "get 2 tickets to XXX and a chance to win a Mitsubishicar or $1000 shopping vouchers." Get it? Means like I thought spend 50 dollars I can get 1000 dollars vouchers, but actually it is only a CHANCE to win the vouchers. This is so damn confusing. They should NEVER put the sign liddat again. XD

first day

Yay! Today is officially the first day of school holidays!!!! So happy~~~ Tomorrow no softball too!!! Heehee. XD

Today's softball was ok though. My throwing is kinda improving i think... Though, I cant throw for distance.... :(

We did some light training, and skill-based. Nicole cant come cuz she got some kind of health check-up... Ate macs at compass point with Amanda as school canteen not open. Mcspicy was nice. :D All the weight that I lost were gained back and I guess I gained more too. :P

Reading comics now. Haiz, I wish that time would never stop~

Discussed with Boning about the class tee matter.

He DID tell the supplier that he wanted a front design. So, we might be able to get the printing for the front design. Haiz, we are not sure whether the front is electric orange a not. If it is, then, no choice, we have to stick with it. If not, then we might be able to get refund... :D

Haiz, hopefully, next time, the class will be more sensible. And not choose a supplier just because it is cheap. Nicole and I actually wanted to go with Vivianne's supplier. But then the class still chose the cheaper one. -.-

Case of the Class Tee
Haiz, our class tee arrived yesterday. We were all excited. And, it appears that there was something VERY VERY wrong. There is no front part and the back design is damn ugly. They never help us do the graphics!!!! Argh, boning!!!!!!!! So wonder the class tee was so cheap!!!!! :( Trying to msn with boning but he is not replying... D:

IVP
Yesterday, I skipped softball as I went to Innovators' Programme. Yep, was kinda fun!!! :)

We took a bus to Nanyang Technological University??? (NTU) Bus ride was okok, i did not really do anything -.- Reached NTU and arrived at the auditorium. Nicole and Krystal were among the first to step in. Nicole suddenly laughed. I asked her what happened. She said that Grace had the same reaction as her (i think). The spiral staircase to our left looked EXACTLY like a DNA molecule. And we just had our science test. I figured out that my first question is wrong~~!!!! :(

Anyway, we went in and watched a presentation for like 2 hours.... The last part of the presentation was fun. It was when they introduced some of their inventions or solutions to daily problems. Was abit funny, some groups, haha. We were like saying some problems of their inventions. Actually, about the Dripfree product- it is like a paper wrapped around the ice-cream stick to prevent the ice-cream from dripping onto our hands, I feel that it is kinda useless. I mean, who would pay 30 cents just to ensure that their hands are ice-cream free. Besides, sometimes, getting ur hands dirty is the fun part about eating ice-cream! :D

Then, after the presentation, we went out to complete the some poster quiz. While walking, Kelvin Ng said hi. (actually, I saw him during the presentation already) Was nice to see some ex-Compassvalites at the IVP. :D Too bad Vivianne didn't come, heehee. XD We were given food and drinks. The sandwich was kinda nice. :P

Then, the bunch of girls (1K) who went to IVP sat down at the floor to play some games. Miss Qiw(correct spelling???) said that we were like very outstanding as we were like the only students sitting on top of the staircase. Haha. So, we went down to the carpet area to play. Finally, it was time to go back.

The bus ride back was quite silent. Suting showed me the list of ppl who are gonna play for the Inter-class. shh... need to keep it quiet... XD I slept during the bus ride and felt like I was gonna fall off. ;P Grace and I then took a ride back using Nicole's car (thanks!). :D

Contacts

Hey everyone!

I went to Compass Point Nanyang Optical Shop today... to try on contact lenses!!!! I had to stay at the library for 3 hours liddat though, as I was waiting for my mother...

I was trying to put on the contacts for like 30 mins... before I could actually PUT them on MYSELF... -.- gosh! Contacts are sooooo hard to put. Taking them out was kinda easy, putting them on is harder... >.< And as all of you know, my eyes are small!!!!! Yep, so I had a problem with putting the contact thingy in... And, another problem. Long eyelashes. I had long eyelashes and they kept touching the contacts, making it like bend backwards??? -.- so mah fun... And I kept tearing... quite painful... :(

But it was my first time wearing contacts, so yeah, was kinda amazing and TOO clear for me... The world seems so bright now. XD However, now, looking at the laptop screen, some words like seem so hazy... Yep, and I have to keep blinking if not I will feel uncomfortable. I feel so conscious as there is a plastic-like thingy ON my eye!!!!! ;P LOL

Tomorrow we will be going to IVP - some young inventors fair thingy. My class was like practically CHEERING when the teacher say that they will be excused from CCA if they go. Hahas. My class had the most number of ppl going, obviously. 10 ppl I think... Looking forward to tomorrow's photo taking. Got one particular year 6-1 one damn funny man. Stanley's specs dropped I think and the bunch of guys laughing while teasing him... XD
