AVATAR 3D

I finally watched Avatar 3D! Watched it with my cousin and my auntie at 2pm, 31 Dec 2009.
A perfect way to end the year :)

Storyline: Was quite typical. These group of scientists and army guys are trying to get a precious stone, located at Pendora(not sure of spelling), that is selling for a high price. The problem is that the Nomads (the blue-skinned people) are occupying that area and they refuse to let the humans get what they want. Thus, the humans send Jake, who is wheelchair bound, to interact and find out about the Nomads. Jake is ecstatic that he is able to run in his avatar - a Nomad's body mixed with human DNA. Soon after entering the Nomads' world, Jake fell in love with a female Nomad who taught him everything that he needed to know about the tribe. Then, the humans could wait no longer. They infiltrated the tribe's place and destroyed their sacred tree. Jake then decides to help the Nomads and turn against his own kind.

Verdict: A touching story about love, betrayal, trust and freedom. Great visual effects and the Nomads' expressions were flawless. Great music that complemented well with the movie. I had my heart thumping while looking at the action before me and listening to the nerve-wrecking music. Though, there ARE some portholes - I keep finding these these days. Regarding the fact that Jake changed 'birds/dragons' or 'airlines', what happened to his previous one? I have always wanted to find out. Hmm... that remains a mystery.

Rating: 4/5
A must-watch! :D

~wanting to watch Sherlock Holmes now

movie

I am gonna watch Avatar 3D later. So yeah. I am wearing my contacts now. Hopefully, there would still be seat to watch Avatar! Haiz. Cuz when i checked jus now, there were like only 3 rows left. Haiz. LOLS.

Having to wear contacts is irritating. So there had better be seats for us!!!!! haha.

bored

I am kinda bored now. Sighs. I have set up a twitter account... And then, nothing. Sigh~
It has been kinda boring this days. RC seems boring already. And I am gonna read "To Kill a Mockingbird" which is most probably gonna put me to sleep.
So, I had an idea to write a short story. Since I haven't really written one for so long since I stopped that one story...
I had an urge to write a tragedy story. heehee. XP

---

I looked up to the vast blue sky. I caught a glimpse of a rainbow before it disappear. It had been raining a few minutes before. Taking a deep breath, I looked down. A view of the city and its people made my stomach lurch. However, it wasn't long before I calmed myself down. I had to overcome this fear if I was going to jump. Yes, indeed. I am now on top of a 20-storey building. With a fantastic view below me and a glimpse of a colourful rainbow, I should be exhilarated, except for the fact that I was not here to take a breather. You see, my lover had just been murdered. She had been murdered by her most trusted friend, Diane.

On that fateful night, I was with my lover. We were snuggling together to watch a movie that we had rented. Snacking on chips and drinking soda, it was the best night that I could imagine. Nobody else was there but my lover and I. Then, my lover said that she had forgotten to go take out the trash. I argued with her that we could still do that tomorrow. She grumbled that by then, it would have been stinky. I should have stopped her. I should have just stopped her by force and refused to let her go. But I did not. I let her go. The next moment, I heard a shrill scream that belonged to my lover. I ran out as fast as I could. I managed to see who the culprit was before she ran away. I rushed to my lover and saw that she had cuts all over her. She was stabbed in the stomach too. She was bleeding profusely. I was frightened and shivered. It took me all of my psychological strength to move from that spot and call the ambulance and police.

Investigations continued and Diane was sentenced to a life of imprisonment. I thought, "What is the use of that? She will not be brought back to life." While speaking to Diane, she apologised profusely. When I asked her why, she sobbed with tears falling down her reddened cheeks, "I was jealous. I have always loved you since high school. But you loved her instead of me. She was my close friend! I never thought that she would be the one you chose. I felt betrayed so I..." She could not continue. I did not console her for I could not. How could I forgive the murderer of my wife, of my lover, of my everything? I just walked away.

The next few days without my lover seemed meaningless. The fact that she was murdered made me inconsolable. I walked around aimlessly. Finally, I realised that there was no more meaning for me to live. The wound in my heart could not be cured. Hence, here I am now. I sighed. I was finally going to be at peace. My suffering and pain would soon be over. I took a deep breath. I jumped. I am coming, Rose.

---

There it is. I hope that I did not de-proved or anything. I did not really use any flowery language this time. So, I hope it turns out okay. :)

ending

Sigh. The holidays are ending soon.
A feeling of dread overcomes me.
Images of tons of homework flashes in my mind.
The clock would show 8 when I reach home.

I feel myself dreading the school term.
One hour of travelling to school.
Standing under the hot sun during assembly.
The urge to doze off during lessons.

But then,
Something always makes up for it.
Friends' jokes and laughter.
One after another.

Being surrounded by friends.
Sharing the gift of joy with them.
Working hard to achieve together.
That's what makes it worthy after.

This is after all, a cycle.
That is never ending, forever.
Something always makes ups,
For the bad things that happen.

merry christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

" Christmas is a time of joy and a time for giving. Santa Claus enters the house through the fireplace and places presents that puts smiles on children's faces into the big, deep socks. :) Reindeers fly above houses, unknown to many people. And sometimes, people can hear a faint 'Hohoho~' "

Well, merry christmas everyone! Especially to those christian friends!!!!! ;D Chocolates are best in this joyous occasion. As for my family, we just laze around. Haha. We dont eat turkey. But we do eat fried chicken, or more specifically, toasted chicken. Haha. :)

Afterwards, we went to watch "Together" together. heehee. Then, we played 'Cluedo'. We played twice and I won both times. Thanks to my quick thinking brain and crafty tactics. (exagerrating) Meanwhile, WJ is next to me talking senseless stuff into my ears and my brain is rushing around to dispose of those nonsensical stuff.

back (:

Being back, I have a confused feeling of happiness as well as sadness. Happiness being that I am finally back home, where I started. Sadness being that I would miss my cousins whom I have spent 7 days with. This is the kind of feelings that we would all have when we come back.

Anyway, I will write about what we did during the Taiwan trip. I would just write briefly and forgive me if I forget any points. :)

Day 1
Arrived at the airport and ate some breakfast. The food at Terminal 1's food court is terrible. Seriously. Hahas. After eating, we made our way down to collect our tickets and meet our relatives. My mum, bro and I said farewell to our father and he left for work. Waited for time to pass as we collected our tickets. Then, I heard that Janice's BBF was here. I asked what was BBF and Ivy said, "Best Boyfriend". LOLs. Then, we started taking pictures and Janice and her BBF came. It was a guy and he was called Vincent. Hahas. We were like all thinking funny stuff. So, we took pictures. And then, we went in to board the aeroplane. Vincent went off. (later found out that BBF was bestest best friend, haha)
Went on the plane. There was currently some traffic jam cuz there were too many planes taking off. So, we waited for quite a while. Then, when we were taking off, Iris and I held hands. Haha. Our ears popped and it was damn exciting. Finally, after settling down - watching G-force and music - we got our lunch. Iris and I both had curry fish. Was nice considering that it was aeroplane food. However, the seat was very squeezy and it was quite uncomfortable. When we landed, it felt like as if we were on viking ship. heehee. XD
Went through check points and met up with our tour guide. Got up on the bus and he introduced himself as Alex. After talking for sometime, Alex said to Iris, "Why do you keep staring at me? My little fan ahs?" LOLs. Everyone laughed. But then, I mean, she was just being polite to look at him while he's talking. -.-
Weather was really cold!!!! Went to Taipei 101 and walked around for a while. Not much to see though. Could not go up cuz need to pay money. Then, we went to a night market and ate food. Food was delicious!!!! Bought stuff and finally, headed back to the hotel.

Day 2
Went to some ji nian tang. There were buildings that looked like temples. Took LOTS of photos. There were also these bodyguard who could not move, they could only stand there for the whole day. haha. Afterwards, we went uphill to go and eat lunch and buy stuff. :) Ate some recommended stuff. Delicious! Bought lots of little snacks too! :D
Went to see some rocks near the sea which had special shapes. Halfway through, we lost contact with the adults. LOLs. They went back. We tried to find them and finally found them at the market. -.-
Then, we went to fetch 21 other tourists who would be joining us on our tour.
Then, we went back to the hotel to eat dinner.
Day 2's hotel was fabulous!!!!!!!! XD

Day 3
Went to Taiwan's theme park. :) Sat on a train to some place inside and then, there were these tribes people's houses. We(cousins) went inside to check it out though we were quite scared. Inside the second houses, Iris suddenly screamed though there was nothing. Haha, this scared the others behind us and they ran out screaming. Haha. Nice trick huh!
Afterwards, we went back to meet the adults. There was this performance going on actually and we skipped it. So, then, we saw these guys like half naked. LOLs. Were laughing when we saw them. XP
Then, we took the cable car back down to the escape theme park where there were all the playthings. We struggled to find out where we were. Haha. We played on rides. The first ride was quite scary cuz we were on a roller coaster and it was pitch dark so we did not know what was gonna happen. hahas. We only sat on a few rides and were complaining that we did not have enough time. haiz.
Ate dinner at a night market. Bought a cap there :)
Then, we went to gao xiong and shopped in Dreammall. Thats when it happened. There was this earthquake then near hua lian. We could feel this while buying ice cream. There was 3.0 magnitude in gao xiong. Was damn exciting. Hahas. It was like once in a lifetime experience. :P
Afterwards, we went back to the hotel.

Day 4
Went to eat at some famous place where they gt lots of PORK. Haha. Then, we went to somewhere near the sea. The wind was really big and we walked around taking photos and absorbing the beautiful scenery.
Then, I forgot what we did... Anyway, we went back to the hotel for dinner.
After dinner, we went to HOT SPRING!!!!! Hot spring was really hot haha. When we went to the cooler pool, we were like frozen to death. So cold!!!!!!! Going back to the hot pool was still better. After bathing and everything, we went down where we could play table tennis. After that, we went to sleep. :)

Day 5
Sat on the bus for damn long. Like 3 hours liddat. Cuz we were going from Gao xiong to hua lian. After that, we had lunch and then, we went to a park. There were many flowers there. Was really pretty. :) Took a lot of pictures too. :D
Then, we went to a factory where they make jade and rocks and stuff. I bought a purple crystal necklace there. It is heart shaped :)
Then, we ate dinner at a restaurant and we went back to the hotel.

Day 6
Woke up at around 7.30. Ate breakfast and then, we made our way to the train station. We sat on the train. Had the bento or sumthing. Was kinda gross. Not really nice. :(
Then, we went to this shop where they talk about names and how it would affect ur life. Mine was not bad. Their predictions were quite accurate. I am kinda good in studies and I am stubborn. Haha. I will also have someone helping me when I am in trouble. :D
Iris' prediction was that she is petty, short-tempered. Haha. She might open her own business when she grows up. And when she works hard, her study will be good. :)
My mum bought this white tiger thingy to put in our house. And there are free jade thingys which will like help us in our lives. Those 3 were given to me, Iris and my bro.
Ate dinner. Then, went to this bridge which is I think Lovers' Bridge. Took lots of pictures. :)

Day 7
Woke up and went to xi men ding to shop. :)
Shop here and shop there. LOLs.
Ate some shaved ice and fruits. :D
After that, we went to the airport and boarded the plane.
I watched "Coco before Chanel". :)
Then, after landing, we bade each other goodbye.
I went home and found this drama series which is repeated.
It is called "Hwang Jin Ni".
Quite nice. Now showing at KBS World, 10.10pm on Wed and Thurs I think.

Finally finished blogging!!!!!! I gonna go watch Cruel Temptation. Now Encai is gonna take revenge!!!!!! XD

at taiwan

Here at taiwan nows. :D
Heehee. Haha.
Iris is next to me and Janice is using the other computer. XD
Iris says that I am 'wu liao'. And she's laughing saying that things that I saying are lame and not neccessary.
K, Iris is unneccessary. (jkjk)
Hahas. XP
Gotta go now.
Will take the train tomorrow to some place.
Really excited. :P
Will be back in 2 days time. :)

sprain

ARGH!!!! THIS IS A DISASTER!!!!! DISASTER!!!!!!

I SPRAINED MY ANKLE!!!!!! AND I AM GOING TO TAIWAN IN 2 DAYS FROM NOW!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!

I was having softball camp when it happened... boohoo. And there was I thinking that I would be having a nice time at softball camp before heading to eat Seoul Garden! :'( boohoo!!!! Besides, many people got injured that day too. argh!!!!!!! why?!!!!!!!

I was running, heading to the WRONG base when I realised it and I suddenly tripped over sumthing. I am not sure what it was but then!!!!! I TRIPPED! And I sprained my ankle. The first thought that came to my head was not the pain, but TAIWAN.

Thoughts like "I am going to Taiwan in 3 days!!! What the hell!!!" ran through my head. I struggled to hold back my tears. But then as I sat down on the sitting stand, I could not help but start to cry a little. It was utterly disappointing. I have waited for so long for a trip and THIS is what happens. I even start to wonder what I have done wrong.

My ankle hurt and I suspected that my nerve or sumthing got sprained. It was painful and I tried to walk, but then realised that I cant put pressure on the feet. So, I was helped by Amanda and Vernetta. Thanks, guys! :D Jingwen's silent presence helped too. :)

I was to be brought back home then. I called my mum and she said she was on the way back home. So, she said that she will go home first before fetching me. I waited and saw Pamela and Yuan Wen. Chatted for like 30 min and Pamela's car came soon.

I was kinda lonely and asked my mum when she was coming. She said that they were eating. I was kinda mad and sad at that point of time. I dunno why but then everything just came pouring down on me. I was there alone with my feet hurting. And she still was not coming. And the thought of the Taiwan trip disappearing made me shudder.

I decided to make my way to the 158 bus stop. I went through the back car entry. I took about 15min just to walk that distance, twice the amount of time for a normal abled human. I felt kinda disabled and stupid.

Finally, my parents came and we went to a Chinese doctor and he massaged my feet. Hurt like hell but I made it a point not to cry. I did not want to start that again. I just held it in.

On the way home, my mum said that I might still be able to go Taiwan. But those long walking distance trips, I might not go then. I let out a sigh of relief. I dunno why but then I did not really realise how much I wanted this trip until this accident.

It did not feel nice to know how badly I wanted something.

briefing

Yo! I ate some horrible cup noodles just now. I just realised that cup noodles aren't nice when eaten alone. You must be with friends and family, then it will be tasty. x) Anyway, I read one very nice comic just now, Watashi Ni xx Shinasai! I find it quite nice but it is irregular comic, so i dun think i will see the updates soon. Haiz. I want MORE~!

And, RC got maintenence and I haven let my workers rest yet! Argh. They would be dead by the time i open again. Next week gt softball camp, so sian. I kinda like the camp, but i dun like the training part! Argh!!!!

Later, I will be going for the briefing of the Taiwan trip at Chinatown. My auntie will fetch me. :) Hmm... but the briefing starts at 7pm so I dunno what are we gonna do in the extra time. Haiz. I gonna log off soon to get ready. :D

staying over

Hey guys! I am officially in my cousin's house. :) I am going to be staying over for er... 4 days 3 nights! (I will be staying until Tuesday) :) Heehee. :D I am now using laptops with Iris. Separately though. Ivy lent me her laptop to use. Thanks! :P Btw, wish her luck in her tests! Haha.

Iris currently got a Mio thingy which allows her to use broadband and watch diff channels. Just now, when Irene used her laptop, I think that it was too much on the Mio broadband thingy. So it kinda collapsed. Haha. Meaning that we could not use the internet. So we were like trying out diff stuff. Hahs. Then Irene 'backed out' voluntarily. LOL.

Anw, Iris and I were playing Poker Rivals just now. I kept losing money. K, it was like I was winning. Then, I lost. LOLS. Now, I know why gambling leads to NOTHING. Haha. So, yeah. I let my workers in RC rest now. I cant read comics and I dun think that I want to anyways.

Irene cooked the lunch just now. We had some 'special Taiwan fishballs(or sotongballs?!), veggies and tom yum fish fillet. The tom yum one is best. XD Yummy~! I wonder what are we gonna eat tonight. I hope that we can cook! And Ivy is now reading while I am typing. -.-

As for my Chinese book, I successfully read 45+ pages yesterday. Dunno how I suddenly read so much. Hahs. I read another 20 this morning. And I found out that they printed like 12 pages wrongly so it was like a repetition. Haiz. Now I left 20 pages. So I will finish by tomorrow!!! Yahoo~! ;D Btw, anyone know the title of "Together" 's theme song??? XP

(updated) Decided to write this cuz it seems funny. Irene says a guys is not handsome in a show. Ivy says dun judge a book by its cover???? Elvin not handsome but Irene still like. Haha. XD

miss

I just realised something! A tragedy!!! Argh~!!!! K, I am getting all worked up over a little tiny thing. K, it is NOT a little tiny thing!!!!!!!! I am going to miss... SIX episodes of Cruel Temptation and Together!!!! HELP! K, why? Cuz there is softball camp, then I will be going to Taiwan... That equals to 1day+5days=6days!!! :( Boohoo!!!! TOGETHER!!! I shall miss Ouxuan. :'(

Anyway, ate curry puff this morning. I think that I am gonna blog every Monday to Friday for this week and next week. LOL. But then, there is NOTHING interesting to blog about. Haiz. Yesterday, I have been reading manga comics with irregular updates. I find the irregularly updated mangas nice and better than the usual. Dunno why...

I am currently playing RC now. Nicole and Krystal are beyond my grasp. Haha. Exaggerating. Now, RC upgraded and they have levels higher than 32!!! So its like they have level 45, etc. And I see all the high high ppl their levels are SO high. Argh. I wanna catch up with Weirong too! hmph!!! XD

Anyway, there is this interesting comic, Pig Bride. You can find it on mangafox.com. But it stopped just when it was getting to the nice part. Gah!!! I can't find the updated chapters anywhere sia. :(

I still have...erm... about 100 more pages to go for chinese! JIAYOUS to me!!!! XP

tag

My mum said something about a tag on my blog last night and I went to check it out.
"1 Dec 09, 21:09
maranda: oi your blog post is in the newpaper"
That was what it said.
LOL.
I not even sure if it is true. Well, I checked The Straits Times. So I think that it might be just some one faking. But it is kinda cool if such a thing happens, eh?
[updated]
Turns out Maranda was not joking. There was a follow-up of the Australian parents thingy and Singaporean parents being too strict. Maranda said that they quoted from my blog. I am trying to find out the full story. But I cannot. This is a link to what I believe is the report. Click here.

Last night, I was watching a documentary showing on okto, "Extreme Bodies". The episode was talking about dwarfs. It talked about the health conditions that they have, etc. I feel that they are INDEED looked down upon by normal, healthy human beings. However, the individuals shown on the documentary have shown awesome will-power and perseverance. They work hard to show us that they can do it too. There was this one man and his wife who are both dwarfs. The husband is sportsman that was trying to win a Paralympic medal. His wife has won a silver medal for Paralympics once. She swam the 50m breaststroke. :D Pro, huh? It is amazing what they can do, seriously. :) And, whats more amazing is that their son is NOT a dwarf. Even though this is more or less hereditary, he still did not get the disease. :)

There was this girl who had a curve in her spine because she was a dwarf. It is less common in normal human beings, but 40 to 50% of dwarfs get this disease. So, yeah. She had to get an operation which straightens her spine by moving the bone, one by one. Cuz they are interlocked. And then, he will insert this long piece of metal which will enable the spine to remain straight. I was thinking, since the spine is CURVING, then when they straighten it, wont it be like too long for the girl's back??? LOLs.

Then, there was this other guy who was the normal size of a human. BUT he was a dwarf once. His mother made him go through a special treatment while he was of the age 12 to 16. He had LENGTHENED his bones by fracturing and breaking them continuously! Cuz the bone had a natural healing system when the bones break, they purposely broke it and left a gap so the bone will be lengthened. However, the treatment was excruciating. The guy still has scars on his legs till now. However, this treatment is still highly controversial. I myself think that such a treatment was kinda not worth it in a short term. Even though u are tall already, the scars on your legs may still put people off. As a dwarf, I think that they should look at things from a better perspective and ADAPT to their environment.

Yep. So eh last night. My mother, brother and I were like chatting where to eat today for dinner when the topic shifted to London, then to us not speaking good english. Haha. Remember a post where I wrote about a similar thing? About how we tend to shift from one thing to another when we talk. Haha. XD Anw, my grandma's back. :)

11.11

I took a glimpse at the time now, and guess what? It showed 11.11am. These days, the clock and me have a really weird iffinity??! There were a few times when I see times like 12.12, 3.33, 4.44 and stuff... They say that if you see such and such timings, something is happening and etc. LOL.

Anyway, "Together" made its debut series yesterday. The series yesterday gave a very good overall view of whos who and who likes who. Xiaobei obviously likes Jianhong. Tarzan too. So, obviously there would be a love triangle etc. XD I hope that the second episode will have something more exciting. You guys may catch the 17min(?) preview of "Together" which was broadcasted on Channel 8 at 6.15 pm I think. :) Just click here.

Meanwhile, Cruel Temptation/ Temptation of Wife is starting to get interesting. Encai finally found out about the husband's affair with Aili. ;D Yahoo~! Finally sumthing is starting to get interesting. Anw, Encai is kinda stupid and naive too. LOLs.

And I just got news that my grandma is most probably not coming. So I will have to spend the afternoon ALONE. :( And I am gonna have leftover fried rice from yesterday for lunch. Boohoo! Haiz. I cant seem to get into mangafox.com lehs! So irritating. Argh! And hors, the Channel 8 thingy when I wanna see the "Together" character bios, I can only see Jeanette's. -.- Hope they fix it. Oh yah! There is an OFFICIAL website for Jeanette Aw now! :) Click here.

As for my Chinese story book, I still have... 150 pages to go! Wah sey lahs! Should not have chosen this book. The book is like excepts of the author's life. Some of it is interesting so I can read damn fast but some are quite boring so I like drag through it. I am now making it a point to read at least 20 pages each day. Haiz. But I not sure if I can finish before I go Taiwan.

Ah~~~!!!!! Cant wait for Taiwan!!!! XP

Nuthing to do today... So staying at home.

Was supposed to go to the library today to renew my book's due date. I am taking awfully long to finish my chi book! >.< But then, while chatting with Nicole G., she told me that the due week was 3 weeks not 2 weeks. LOL.

So in the end I ate some noodles which I cooked. With ketchup sauce!!!! yummy~ ;D And some chicken which I toasted. :) Not bad for a 15 or 10 mins to cook meal! XD

Haiz, am gonna continue to read the chi book later on. Sian...

2009 psle

Hey guys! Yesterday, I went to my grandma's house and visited her. Lots of good food! Yummy!!! XD Anyway, I went to buy a magazine, "Hot" at Compass Point. Did not know there was this magazine there in the first place. So, there are all sorts of hot news and stuff about celebrities, mainly Hollywood. XP Less of the hongkong stars etc. Hongkong stars are mostly for I-zhou-kan. :)

So, this years top PSLE is 290 marks out of 300. Sian, it was 3 marks higher than my year. Haha. Anw, Jingwen's sister did not manage to beat her I think. LOL. Everyone keeps comparing marks here and there. It is also kinda pressurizing lehs. And, TG(from taiwan) who lives at Iris' block got 230. Not bad lehs. Actually, these kids from overseas only need to grasp English, then they can score already. Cuz I heard from Yidan (From softball, China) that she came to Singapore just to learn English only. In fact, China the Science and Maths system is much more tougher! WOW!

So, yeah. And yesterday's newspaper report wrote an article about the Australian show that says that Singapore's parents are one of the strictest parents in the WORLD. Click here - World's Strictest Parents, Aug 19 to view the video. I cant see the video for some reason so yeah. Anw, the children say that this is like one of the strictest routine they have ever had. I was reading the 'rules' and realised that they are actually NORMAL. For Singapore, that is. Those are the reaaalllllyyyyy normal rules! Here are they:
  • No smoking
  • No alcohol
  • No sleepovers
  • No boyfriends or girlfriends
  • No swearing
  • Must spend every Sunday as a family
  • Studies come first
  • No skipping school
  • Internet must be used in loungeroom so parents can see what sites they’re logging onto.
They are like real simple and straight-forward. They are the kind of rules I expect. K, maybe some are overly-harsh. Like, the internet being in the loungeroom. And the boyfriends and girlfriends, and the sleepover part. But, things like skipping school, smoking, alcohol and stuff, these are kinda expected right??? LOL. So yeah. Singapore is NOT that strict. But then, we ARE kind of conservative. After all, we are made of Chinese, Malays, Indians. These are the races which have their own tradition and bringing up their kids properly is one of them. Definitely. While the Americans might be... a tad too adventurous. They leave their kids uncontrolled. While too much control is not good, too little control is also not good.

Also, I was watching Rush Hour 3 on TV when I started outlining a model in the newspaper. I decided to scan it since it looks quite nice XD

blocked

Finally!!!! It's FINALLY blocked week!!!!!!!!!!!! XD Yahoo~! K, right, actually, it is not exactly blocked week now. But then, after this week, it would be! So, I am just celebrating early. XP Sianz. Today's training started out quite fine. Until the end.

We started with some throwing first. I threw with Jingwen. Here, I am gonna say 'Sorry!!!' to everyone who had to run about just to catch the balls that I threw. Really sorry!!!! >.<''' K, so after that, we did some fielding. I cannot throw one base, so the coach PURPOSELY asked me to stand at first base to throw home. -.- Then, he switched me to be the catcher. LOL. Seriously, there is no problem with my batting, catching, fielding. EXCEPT for my throwing. Gah!!!!!!

Then, we sat and rested while the coach gave some talk to Vernetta and Jalyn. I think that it was cuz they asked whether it was time to go back home already or something. But then the coach was quite angry today cuz of our reflections/observations. He gave us a 40 min long talk in the morning when the C Div training started. WOW!

Then, we did some swift stick batting. (I actually thought it was called 'sweet stick' XD) The waffer (correct spelling?) balls were flying everywhere. kk, abit exagerrated. LOL. Anw, then, we had to pack the stuff after warm-up. It was kinda tiring cuz we only had 7 ppl. Vernetta and Jalyn went already. Haiz. We did not have the key so we left the stuff outside the storeroom.

By the time we were done packing, we were DAMN tired sia. Jingwen kept cursing cuz the equipment was damn heavy. We changed and stuff. I collected my books and was prepared to go when the coach suddenly call us back, saying that the storeroom was opened and that we can go put the equipment back inside. Wah sey. Damn angry liaos. We went back AGAIN, kept the stuff. Jingwen was there cursing all the way. Haha. Then, the coach say, "How can you all leave the equipment outside there?" He said that Mr Wee and him had went to take the key so how can we like leave the stuff there. I was there thinking, "We did not even KNOW that they were taking the key. And, if the key cannot find, what you want us do? Stand outside the whole day and guard is it?!" Damn angry. Jing wen was like gonna break down liaos. Haiz. :(

After that, I went to compass point with Amanda and ate KFC with her. I was having a hard time eating the chicken. -.- And it was quite hot and spicy. >.< Then, we went to take the bus and bus 86 came already bt Amanda didn't allow me to go. x( LOL. Then, we took bus 80 together in the end. I got down before her of course.

-Discovered that actually, there was a shortcut to the toilet from the bus-stop we alighted. XD

Sigh. The days pass so fast. Looking forward to the trip to Taiwan. :P And I have to type out the damn reflection.

200th

Yay!!!!!!!!!!
Guess what?
This is the...

200th POST!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!! K, it might not be THAT much for ppl who post like, everyday. But then, this is like a huge achievement for me :) AND, my posts are usually damn long so it seems more like an accomplishment to me. :D

Haha. Just ate lunch which was hor fun. It was cooked by my grandma. Pro right? She should like go open an eatery or something. XP Her food are always delicious one lor! That is if her 'feeling' is there. She told me once that if she does not have the mood, then she will anyhow cook. But if she feels good, her food will always have like something special. Now I totally agree on "Put love into the food"~! ;D

Anyway, my Restaurant City is like being caught up by Iris. We are like competing with each other and seeing who overtakes who. Haha. Anyway, it is getting kinda boring liaos. Cuz all that we have to do is just let it run and earn money. Haiz. I wanna overtake Weirong too. Last time he was dunno how many levels below me then he suddenly accelerate and overtake me!!!!! Gah!!!! Haha. Jiayous to me! XD

rain

Hi guys! I actually wanted to blog about something but I cannot due to some reasons... So, for an avid blogger like me who wants to blog about every interesting thing, it is quite infuriating for me! Gah!!!! Why cant I blog about it?!!!!! Haiz, anyway, I skipped softball today cuz I still have flu(due to the frequent rains) and a slight cough. And whats more, it has been raining EVERYDAY. So, I guess the girls at softball training must be doing PT now unless it rains in sengkang but not in tanjong rhu.

Yesterday, I watched Project Runway and America's Next Top Model. Both reality TV shows are mostly about fashion and stuff. Project Runway was really interesting and I saw this one girl who made a dress out of only one cloth and it gt the top among all the designers. It was really nice and it fitted the theme well. :) I think last week, or last last week, she also gt top. So, it was really quite amazing. :P

As for Project Runway, there was this girl who was actually like American (or English) that kind of girl bt she looked kinda like those Chinese with really big eyes. I thought that she looked kinda weird lors. And the models are not exactly THAT beautiful cuz they are beautiful only when they have makeup and stuff. But they are not natural beautiful. I think that the host(?), a 'retired' model, looked better cuz her skin and everything are like damn natural and she looks really pretty. :)

Ah! Yes, I found a comic, "Wild Ones". Storyline interesting although when you read it on mangafox, there are like 10(?) missing chapters. LOL. But you can still get the story cuz it revolves around a like main line. Yesterday, I watched the first episode of Temptation Of Wife/Cruel Temptation on Channel U, 7pm. The first episode was kinda boring so I felt that they should just skip it all the way to the part where the guy betrays the wife. LOLs. Haiz, so boring. I am currently gonna finish my maths hmwk. Bt I am still like dilly-dallying. Oh, and I gotta ask my dad go buy Chinese newspaper for my newspaper article thingy. Haiz... And I have to finish a Chinese book consisting of 225 pages. :( HELP~!

cookies

Hey guys!!!! Sorry for not posting for quite long! Anyway, I went to Ikea, Giant and of course, Courts, on Saturday. My father did not come so it was only my mother, bro and me. We went to Giants' foodcourt and ate while waiting for my auntie. Soon after, my cousin, Iris, auntie and my grandma came. :)

We then went to buy some stuff for our Taiwan trip. So excited! I am going to Taiwan and it is my FIRST time there! Those advertisements about" Welcome 2 Taiwan!" really worked! XD Anyway, we bought some sweaters. I gt a green one at first but then realised that it did not match my purple jacket, so I gt a pink one eventually. I also gt a pair of new jeans!!!! :D Iris tried one of my choices which I liked bt then it did not fit her cuz her back was too small. Haha. So we went around trying to find a fitting that was good for her. Finally, we found one! :D

Then, we went to Courts. We walked around, looking at laptops that were below $1000. Haha. And my bro went around playing with the games there on the laptops. Then, we ate at Subway. :) Was quite nice. I ate terriyaki chicken sandwich. :D

Then, we proceeded to Ikea against my wishes. I did not want to go cuz I wanted to bake cookies at Iris' house. Iris and I were like walking through Ikea aimlessly. I want quite frustrated cuz we merely came to Ikea cuz "Ikea, Courts and Giant came together." So, if you go one, you must go all. LOL!!!!! In the end, Iris and I walked all the way to the exit quickly and bought hotdog bread while waiting for the others.

Finally, we went to Iris' house. We baked chocolate cookies. :D Was damn fun sia!!!!! And we watched 爱 while rushing to the kitchen to take cookies and to replenish the supplies. Haha. We were also complaining about Yixin in the movie. We were also like asking Zhenchang to hurry up die cuz he was dragging the whole movie down. Haha.

Afterwards, we went to a hawker centre somewhere at Bedok and ate. It was like 10 then. We ate BBQ stingray, kangkong, porridge, sotong, mussel and chicken wing. Soooo nice! :P Then, we went home quite reluctantly.

^Cookies that we baked!

^Oh yeah! I forgot to tell u about this incident. We went to the Ikea cafe and there was this Friends machine which allowed u to get free food if you put in your friends card. We put my auntie's expired card in to give it a try and what came out was this. Haha!

^Christmas deco

^Courts' megasale!

draw

K, I haven't been posting my drawings for quite some time. K, quite LONG. But, finally, I did. There is supposed to be one more page but then I haven't really completed it. It is all the hairstyles that I can think of. -.-
Lately, I have been drawing the shape of the person's head before drawing the hair and eyes. Then, I trace the hair and eyes, thus erasing the shape of the head. It helps cuz the heads seem more proportionate. :D I am having problems drawing legs though -.-

^Some kind of clothes to wear to work???

^Obviously a maid, that looks kinda fat.

running out

I AM OFFICIALLY RUNNING OUT OF COMICS!!!

It is a TRAGEDY!!!!

K, I am over-reacting. But then, I have depended on comics to enrich my life, entertain myself, delude myself away from the horrible reality... etc. Haha, I am DEFINITELY over-reacting. Haiz. There does not seem to be any good comics lately. One that would get me going for a week. One that would not let me be bored just after one day. -.-

I have read quite a few comics... lets see what I can recall...
  1. Vampire Knight - Publishing is slow now, so I do not really go check on it.
  2. Skip Beat! - Have finished reading current ones, waiting for new chapters.
  3. The One - Finished until around chap 60? Getting bored to death so have given up on it.
  4. Shugo Chara - Read finished current chapters. Waiting for new ones.
  5. He's Dedicated to Roses - Drawings too computerish and the story is draggy. I can also predict what is gonna happen. Nuthing interesting or new.
  6. Boarding House of Hunks - Drawing also too computerish. Story also draggy. Practically same case as "He's Dedicated to Roses".
  7. AKIRA - Really nice plot. Currently waiting for new chapters. (only found at onemanga.com)
  8. Fly High! - Getting draggy. Waiting for new chapters.
  9. D. Grayman - Story is too 'cut-up'. Not much connection between one chapter and the other. Rather watch anime of it.
  10. Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu - Story too predictable. Stopped reading quite some time ago.
  11. Kaichou wa Maid-sama! - Nice story and plot. Love it. But publishing very slow.
  12. Faster Than A Kiss - Nice plot. But I don't really feel like clicking on the latest chapters to read. Cuz the plot always revolves around the 'teacher-student relationship problem' thingy.
  13. Chocolate Cosmos - Just read finish yesterday. Quite nice. The problems that arise are always kinda un-anticipated. So it is not the normal always happy ending.
  14. Himegimi no Aikon - Very long never update. Can roughly guess where it's going with just the first few chapters.
  15. Beauty Pop - Nice story and plot. Ending not so nice though.
  16. Penguin Revolution - Nice story and plot as well. Ends too quickly though. And I kinda pity a character inside. Hahas.
  17. The Day of Revolution - Really, really good concept. But the mangaka very lazy, I guess? Ends too quickly.
  18. AAA - Started and stopped almost immediately. Can guess the ending. Stopped cuz the drawings are not proportionate.
  19. Honey Hunt - Storyline is almost the same as "Skip Beat!". Not that interesting since its the same.
  20. 7th Period is a Secret - A rather short comic. Story is also kinda predictable.
  21. Devil and Her Love Song - Nice plot. But not captivating enough. Stopped when I finished the current chapters there.
  22. Ouran High School Host Club - Finished the current chapters there. Story is getting more and more draggy. Should focus on the girl being a guy fact instead of romance.
  23. Hadashi de Bara wo Fume - Nice starting. Then, I got kinda bored and lazy of it. The plot is nice though. :)
  24. Dengeki Daisy - Nice plot. Though abit how-to-say? Er.... It is not that common yet at the same time abit common. K, abit confusing liaos.
  25. Hana to Akuma - Story abit 'cut-off'. Drawing not proportionate.
  26. Absolute Boyfriend - Finished. Checked it up due to its Korean drama series remake.
  27. Kimi no Todoke - Finished until chapter 14 bahs. Predictable and nuthing is happening -.-
  28. Gakuen Alice - Nice plot until around Chapter 110 where the time-travelling takes place. Then the story gets boring.
  29. Koukou Debut - Predictable. Stopped when the girl confesses her love and the guys accepts. Can roughly guess what happens.
  30. Special A - Story is draggy. Drawings are nice at times and others, not.
K, I shall stop here and there are somemore. But, it IS kinda endless, eh? Haha. Anyway, today at Softball training, the gals got crazy, literally. We are called the Shingzer Family. (In memory of Ris Low) I am currently the great-grandson. -.- Haha. Vernetta is my mother. LOL. Singmei is my grandma and Yunning is my great-grandfather, I think. Jalyn is my sister. XD Jingwen is my great-great-grandfather??? Nicole is the dog and Clarrissa is the tree outside the house???!!!! Haha. LOLs. XP

Oh yeah! I haven't tell you guys the marks yet.
Wait, did I tell you? k, wait I go check. XP
K, checked. I told you guys the grade, but not the overall GPA.
My GPA is 3.4/4. Thats... 85%! Which is an A+!!!! Haha. :)
My aim next year would be 3.5 or above. :D
Wish me luck and I would wish you luck too!

this is it

THIS IS IT
Suting, Nicole W. and I went to watch Michael Jackson's This Is It on Tuesday. Well, it was quite a 'late' day that day. Everyone was late. Hahas. So, anyway, after we bought the tickets, we went to eat Yoshinoya. :)
We went to watch after eating. At first, all the advertisments were fuzzy. Suting and I thought that there were something wrong with our specs or that it was a 3D movie. XD Anyway, the movie was something like a documentary, showing the making of "This Is It". The songs were really cool and hearing it echo round the movie theater was an experience of a lifetime. It was not like watching a show. Shows can make you cry and everything but this doesn't. It was something different. When the show started, and the music was on, I got the kind of tinggling(dunno how to spell) sensation that I always get when I feel excited. I await for what happens next and your heart gets pumping fast. It was really exciting, something that you would not feel watching a normal movie. Soon, I find myself tapping to the fast musics. They even show them shooting a scene for Thriller. The makeup and everything was fantastic. The way they did it was really absolutely fabulous!
It is indeed a pity that we cannot see it for our own eyes when Michael Jackson wanted to go on a tour. You can see him working really hard during rehearsals. It was like the real thing.
Michael Jackson, your songs will still live on. :)

b'dae

Yo guys!!! I am racking my brains out these days just to think of a title for my posts. -.- Anyway, I had forgotten to talk about Mingyu's birthday party. So, yep, thats what I would be talking about.

Mingyu's b'dae
It started out when Nicole and I met at Compass Point to buy Mingyu his birthday present. :D Grace had some guides thingy going on so it was only Nic and I. We went to action city. Nuthing. So, went to popular obviously. We saw a book and were hesitating about whether we should buy that. Cuz we do not know if Mingyu has that book already. So, we went round and round. First, we saw a cute small plastic chair and wanted to buy a soft toy to go with it. So the soft toy can sit on the chair. But then, after considering that Mingyu is a guy and might not want that, we discarded that idea. We eventually found a stationary holder which can like turn so you can get things on the other side. Sooo coooll!!!!! I kinda want that too~

Then, we headed to Downtown east. It was drizzling and the wind was strong. I didn't tie up my hair so it was like all over my face. XD Just nice, bus 89 came and we boarded it. It was soo damn freaking cold! Nic and I were like struggling to contain our heat lest it dissipate into the surroundings. (I am kinda infactuated with the word, "dissipate" these days.) Nearing Downtown east, there was a junction and some kinda of traffic police was directing traffic. And it was like as if he got some kind of grudge against us. He kept letting other cars go, but not ours. Nic and I were furious and saying stuff like, "Does he even have a license?!" Haha. Then, when we FINALLY reached, Nicole said that Gen was at subway and she kinda needed help. Haha. When we got to subway, Ying Xuan came too so the four of us headed to Ming yu's chalet. It was pouring and we had to share umbrellas. While walking, Nicole and I were still joking though some rain splashed on us. (not very accurate)
Lightning flashes.
Nicole: "Later we get struck by lightning."
Me: "Haha. Don't worry. Wanna strike also strike those 2 behind."
Laughs.
Get it? The 'those 2 behind' were Gen and Ying xuan. Cuz they were tall so lightning usually strike tall objects. To Gen and yx: JKJK only ahs. Dont take it seriously. XP

Since it was raining, we could not BBQ. The four of us ate kinderjoy with Mingyu. The band grp then arrived. Mingyu's mother was so nice as to go and packet some sushi for us to eat. It was definitely stomach-saving. Heehee. And we watched la bi xiao xing so we were not really that focused on it. Nic was also playing around with some scary mask. She kept trying to scare ppl except that it always failed. Only Joelle and Boning got scared, hahaas. :D Then, Yuan wen, Nic and I went down and started standing on the seats which was near the BBQ pits. We chatted and argued about Band and Guides on which one was better as a CCA. In the end, Yuan got so confused she accidentally say Band not good. Haha. Then, all of us started to 'salvage' the fire which was going out. I put charcoal and stuff. It was kinda irritating as it was raining. That was like the worse BBQ I have ever went to. -.- But in the end, the fire got better (like after 1 h) and food finally got cooked.

We then sang Mingyu's birthday song and ate cake. :) By the way, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, MINGYU!!!

...

I do not know what to write for this post's title so u guys will have to settle for the 3 dots. Haha. XD Anyway, I shall talk about today. Hmm... I haven't done that for a looonnnnggggg time. :)

I had softball training today. Seriously, my throwing still sucks. I think my problem is in transferring my energy to the ball. Even though I use a lot of energy, somehow it kinds of dissipate into the surroundings and the ball ends up all loose and slow. So, I think thats my problem. But.... when I throw properly, I cant put my energy into the ball -.- Thats why I used something like side throw last time... Haiz. Anyway, forget about that.

Continuing, when I was on the bus 158 to school, I ran into Joey, Joelle's sis. I did not see her at first until she call my name. I was like thinking, "Gosh! She remembers me!" Well, it is kinda rare cuz ppl do not usually rmb their relatives' friends' names. XD Anyway, it was nice of her to remember me. :) I took her to the general office. Apparently, there was something like a gathering??? She did not tell me :( Haha, there were like parents gathered there so maybe something like a school exchange?

So, after softball training, I was SUPPOSED to help out for some CIP thingy. But then! Joelle told me that there were enough ppl there helping already so I need not come. I was kinda irritated seriously cuz I did not know that I needed to go yesterday to find out what to do at first. >:( Haiz. The misery of life~~~~ JKJK. Anyway, so I went to buy macs to collect the sticker thingy for monopoly!!!!!! Haha. XD

While on the way back on the bus, I saw a mother and her daughter. The situation is like this. The daughter is chattering non-stop on the bus. The daughter disturbs her mother and keeps saying, "I wanna go up! I wanna go up and sit." The mother gets angry and says harshly, "Shut up!"
My first thought was, "The poor girl! How can the mother scold the daughter like that?" Then, it hit me. I should not draw to conclusions too quickly like that. I should not sympathise immediately with the little girl just because she is innocent. Well, so what if the girl may not be in the wrong? But it DOES NOT mean that the mother is to blame. The mother is just irritated after a hard day. What's more, the daughter may have been complaining all the way from Orchard road to here. The mother could not stand it any longer and bursts out.
So, who is to be blamed? NONE. I just realised that people, namely Man, like to find fault with someone. They just NEED to. An example: The Mayans predict that the end of the world is gonna come in year 2012. People do not really believe this as there is no concrete proof. However, IF that day really comes, the people will start to blame the government for not taking precautions. Situations like this always happen. We just blame someone to make ourselves feel better. We feel better when we think that we are not the cause of such unfortunate events. However, there is the cause and effect theory. EVERYTHING is the cause of something. From the dinosaur age to now, everything affects everything. I may say something was caused by Jane. Jane will say it was caused by May who told her to go. May would say it was someone else who suggested it. In the end, the blame ends up with someone we do not even know.
K, now I feel weird. Cuz I am writing all this funny stuff about chim stuff that I find weird writing. -.-'''

Haiz. This is life indeed.

farewell

I shall be talking about Mr Sng's farewell ceromony. :) It happened on the 6th Nov 2009.

The start of the ceremony was obviously welcoming Mr Sng. He was wearing something like a backpack. Looks so funny!!!! XP Then all of Dunman High cheered damn loudly. Cameras were flashing and the mood was HIGH~ It was like Mr Sng was some kind of superstar! :D

They started with a video I think. It was made by the teachers. It was sooooo funny! Especially they way the teachers act and talk, even sing! There was one vid where the teachers show what characteristics Mr Sng have. So, to show the next one, the next teacher would push the previous teacher away. The way they did it was sooo funny!!!!!! XD I really have to admit that their 'acting' skills are not bad. :P

Afterwards, each year would present something like a presentation for Mr Sng. Naturally, the year 1s went first. I have to say, Boning's acting was good! And funny! Haha. Especially the part where he sang. At the starting, he went abit off-tune and the dunmanians laughed. I really pei fu him for even though the students laughed, he continued to sing bravely. Seriously, not everyone can sing in front of the whole crowd, much less the principal.
The rest of the years' performance are kinda mundane. But I know that they put a lot of effort into it. However, I feel that the year 1s performance was the most 'colourful' as it was funny and full of life. :D

Although, the students have to bear some pain as well. :( We sat on the ground for 3 hours+ and there was not really enough space. Grace and I have to take turns to like switch sitting positions. One of us would sit cross legged while the other would bend her knees like the usual crying position??? Haha. So it was quite excruciating. I think I am exaggerating with the word, "excruciating". Heehee. XD

Then, Mr Sng gave a speech. Even though he said that he was going to make it short, he dragged it in the end. -.- Hahas. He thanked us, students, as well as those who have helped him in one way or another. There was this incident mentioned when someone whose job was not to help him wash his coffee cup, helped him. I think that that person was really a good role model. He went out of his way to help Mr Sng and that deserves to be praised. :D

The finale was the best part I think! We sung "当你孤单你会想起谁". I absolutely love singing as a whole school. I think that one good point of Dunman High is when we have this mass singing session, everyone will sing. Even if they dun sing loudly, they will at least whisper. The very last part was when we have to sing the SCHOOL SONG. That time was the loudest I have ever heard DHS sing. I could not help but smile at hearing everyone sing. That moment was unforgettable. It was one of those times when you have a warm feeling enveloping your body, making you shiver :D

Lastly, I would like to give my thanks to Mr Sng. Even though I do not know him well, I would still like to express my appreciation for what he had done for Dunman High. He designed programmes that would enrich our learning experience and he spent money and time on building a new campus so as to create a conducive environment for us to study. All these are worth thanking for. :) It is also because of his part in governing the school that Dunman High can shine today. :D Thanks, Mr Sng.

clean up

We cleaned up East Coast Park's beach because of..... post-exams activities. I have mentioned those 3 words for the past 2 posts, didn't I? Haha.

So, Nicole, Krystal, Gen and I were officially stuck with the 3 muskerteers. LOL. So, the trash bag which we were supposed to use for collecting rubbish was left with them and they FORGOT to bring it down! Argh. We were damn angry sia. So in the end the WHOLE CLASS was slowed down. But..... there is a silver lining in every cloud. (correct?) We were just nice near the underground shelter when it started to rain. We were MUCH MORE fortunate than the other students who had to run all the way to ECP for shelter. So.... I guess that was a blessing in disguise???

We then went to pick rubbish. Nicole said she wanted to find something interesting. But in the end, all the interesting stuff were found by the guys. They found a damn huge pencil, a toy eye, a brick?!!! Haha. We found lots of cigarettes. Haiz. The beach was really quite dirty lors. Please, people!!!! SAVE THE EARTH!!!.... and us students who are cleaning up the beach. heehee.

Movies

CORALINE
I went to watch this movie as it was part of the school's post-exam activities.
This girl, Coraline, finds herself in another world where everything is PERFECT, unlike her real world. She starts to like it a lot. However, the people in that world have button eyes. When the perfect mother tells her to sew on button eyes so that Coraline can stay in that world, Coraline refuses and gets frightened. It turns out that the perfect mother is not as perfect as she thinks. You may watch the show to find out what exactly happens.
I will give it a rating of 2.5/5.
Firstly, the 3D animation is abit too dizzy for me and the glasses are too heavy. Hahas. It would be best to watch it with contacts. Also, the starting of the show is not really that interesting. Like it is quite draggy. The behind part of the movie is more interesting. :)

ASTRO BOY
Iris and I went to watch Astro Boy yesterday at Century Square. :) You may read Iris' post too.
Anyway, this story is about a little boy called Toby who is the son of a famous professor, Dr Tenma. A guy running for an election comes to know about the blue and red core. The blue is positive energy while the red is negative energy. The guy puts a red core inside a robot and the robot ends up killing Toby. Dr Tenma is depressed over Toby's death and recreates a new robot which resembles Toby and it also has his memories. The robot is powered up by the blue core. However, Dr Tenma soon realises that the robot is not Toby. 'Toby' knows about it and rushes off to find his own place in the world. He meets friends. He thus names himself Astro. Meanwhile, the election guy takes the red core. He tracks down Astro and fights against him...
I give this movie 3/5.
The plot is quite interesting. :) The animations are cool and I am quite touched at some points. But, it was not exactly enough to keep me crying for a whole 2 minutes. Haha. XD

maths trial

We has Maths Trail for one of the post-exam activities.
My team was an ALL GIRLS team!!! XD

K, so anyway, we went to stations and completed tasks which relate us to maths and everyday life. Like how maths can be found and applied daily. :)

Anyway, our last station was the crop circles station where we had a make-shift compass. It was soooo hard to draw perfect circles when the string kept coming off. :( But at the last part, we went to draw on the floor with chalk, which was erasable. XD We wrote names, etc. Haha. Was so much fun! :) Here are some pictures.

^A box which we had to make using origami. :) Pretty right?

Our team!!!!!! :D

school

Yo! I am officially blogging from the SCHOOL. XD Lol, but then this is the first time I am blogging in Dunman High, though I have from Compassvale primary School. :) Mr Lum is sooooooo nice that I take back what I say about his brother. heehee. You must be thinking WHAT did I say exactly. Well....

Remember before the netball interclass? yep, we (gals) went to anchorvale CC's basketball court to play as well as train. Hahas. [at this point of time, Nicole typed "so weird seeing sueqin blogging beside" LOL.] Anyway, back to the story, we went to compass point to eat Long John Silver. So, when we went there, we realised that a waiter there looked and talked abit like Mr Lum. XD And we were laughing over how long he took to serve food, etc. Then, while we were eating, Nicole G. saw a hole in his pants, BUT it has been stitched up. It was so damn funny cuz she talked about the hole first then the stitching up part. So we kinda thought that the hole was like... THERE. Haha.

Anyway, am playing RC now and watching some Jap show. Haha. K, gonna stop cuz I wanna watch. Btw, leelaoshi was nice today and gave a bee choc and lollipop. :D Will post the pic :)

trashed

On the second day of netball interclass, my class played with 1L. I dunno why and how, but then 1L suddenly got damn strong lor! I was defending Maranda for the first round then Beatriz for the second round. Maranda was really quick, obviously. Beatriz was good at moving backwards to catch the ball. So, I had a really tough time defending. -.-

Haha. Finally, after a lot of sweat lost, we lost to 17 to 2. TRASHED. But then, we had some fun and enjoyed the experience. After all, our goal was top 8 and we achieved it. :D Yay!

After the netball interclass, Nicole, Grace and I went to e!hub to watch "Imagine That". I think that the movie is quite nice, but not that special or anything. I mean, it was funny but the plot and everything was not that unique and it did not stick into my head. The show was about the father who was a workaholic and a girl who talked to imaginary friends. One day, the father realises that the girl's 'friends' can actually predict stocks stuff. Like which company to buy or sell. The father then goes with his daughter to visit the friends. Through the time, the father and daughter bond grows closer. I would rate the movie as 2.5/5.

By the way, the finals was yesterday and 1L won against with the score of 15 to 5. Now, I don't feel so bad losing. XD heehee.

Anyway, I got back all the test grades and marks today.
Geog - A+
Chi - A
Maths - A
LA - B
Sci - B
Hist - B

Argh. I have a feeling that my GPA overall wont be that high. :(

top 8

Yay!!!!!!!! 1 Kellyx's netball team has reached the TOP 8!!!!!!! Gosh!!!!!! So happy~!!!!!! :D

K, so, we were actually defeated by 1A first cuz they were damn strong and we haven't warm up yet. What's more, the WA of 1A kept like sticking to me. I mean, fine, stick lahs. But then! She kept putting up her arms! Wasn't that NOT allowed? Damn irritating sia. D: Afterwards, we were damn sad cuz we lost by 9 to 4? Then, Joelle kept complaining that Miss Lee kept poking her and complaining that we did not run to open space. Haha. We were quite saddd by the recent defeat. But then, our spirits were still strong. We knew that we had a chance to beat 1J.

So, during the match of 1J, we were pretty hyped up. And the scores was not that bad. We WON!!!! 1 to 5??? So cool! We were like cheering and high-fiving everywhere! So happy~! Cuz we might have a chance to go to top 8. IF 1J did not win against 1A. Then, we went to watch the guys. Guess what? They were losing - 0 to 34 (i think). OMG!!!!!!! Ying Xuan was like soooo frustrated and scolded Felix as a blur pok (i think). Hahahs. We got quite anxious and started cheering for the guys. Then, they finally got 4 points!!! Not bad, at least we did not have a 'zero' on the scoreboard. heehee.

Then, the gals went to buy some drinks to replenish our water supply. Then, we went to watch the guys play for one round. Afterwards, we watch 1A play against 1J. We were actually secretly wishing in our hearts that 1A would win. Cuz then we could go to top 8. I feel kinda bad in my heart that I would have such thoughts. But then a competition is a competition. The scores were REALLY close too. The difference was only one or 2 points. We figured out that the 1J could win cuz 1A's defence was not that good. They also did not 'pressure' the GS. Hahas. But in the end, 1A won. I must say that their team is really good. But only for the attack. Their defence is still abit weak. But they managed. :D

We were soooo happy!!!!!! I think the guys did not get in. Felt saddd. But then, they tried their best. And that is what matters. What's more, the experience would be a wonderful addition to their memory. :)

Anyway, at this point of time, my brother is at home due to PSLE marking days. And he is being terribly annoying. I did not do anything then he say that I very irritating. And then, he say that my mother ask him do Lead assignment. Argh!!!!! I really feel like bashing him up!!!!!!!!! >:( He is so damn irritating man! And when he puts his legs up on the table, he starts shaking them and kicking them, creating a lot of noise. He says, "I wish you did not come back home."
Like I wanted to come back to a home with HIM! now I WISH THAT HE WAS AT THE CHILDCARE, NOT AT HOME. Seriously, there is no reason for him to be here as he is practically doing nothing. D:< Why did I have a brother????!!!!!!!!!

thirteen reasons why

I went to the library yesterday and I borrowed THREE books.
By today, I had already finished 2 books. :D An accomplishment!!!!
Anyway, I MUST MUST MUST tell you about this book, "TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY".

"Clay Jenson doesn't want anything to do with the tapes Hannah Baker made. Hannah is dead. Her secrets should be buried with her. Then Hannah's voice tells Clay that his name is on his tapes -- and that he is, in some way, responsible for her death. All through the night, Clay keeps listening. He follows Hannah's recorded words throughout his small town... and what he discovers changes his life forever." (quoted from the cover of "Thirteen Reasons Why")
This is an extremely touching and fascinating story. The tapes and the people she mention are all so real, in some ways. The fact that you find some of them similar to you is eerie. The way Hannah says her feelings, like when she wants to die, is so truthful and heart rendering. I had some of the emotions mentioned in the book before, and I find it scary that she can actually say out exactly how I felt at that point of time. This book would teach you a true lesson about trying, giving up and lastly, hope. All the people who have heard these tapes are forced to reflect on what they have done and think about how did it affect Hannah. I strongly encourage everyone to read this, it is a book in a million.

chaos

Haha. It was before the exams during ACC lesson....
It was a prefectly NORMAL day until....
The three muskerteers made chaos.
Seriously, I think our class should stand for....
K-haos
Get it? Chaos got a pronounciation of K at the starting.
Haha.
The three guys started moving chairs and stacking them.
Krystal says, "They are concentrating on this more than their studies."
I laughed.
It was kinda true.
They were actually DISCUSSING which place to put the chair so it wont fall.
-.-
That was my expression.
But I could not help being amazed at the stack of chairs.
They look like abstract art.
Though they look nicer in real-life.
And poor Boning is being scolded indirectly for letting the boys play a fool.
He then sets off to control them.
Joelle comments, "老师的话深深的伤到了他的心。"
I laughed again.
Laughter is good.
Natural medicine.
It was fun. :D

~funny times

Mooncake

Hiie!!!!! Sorry for the lack of posts! It has been the exam period so I have no time....
Anyway, a belated HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL to everyone!!!!! :D :D :D
My bro was obviously basking in the holiday mood and wanted to go down to play. Haha. So, my mother, bro and I went down. I took some pics to put at the blog as well as for keepsake. :)

Anyway, my school had some activities as well. We celebrated Mooncake festival and it was damn fun!!! We were hesitating to wear our class tee though as u know what happened... But we wore it over the school uni so its like double layer with the collar showing. Quite nice. It makes up for the blank and plain front. :)

^This was before we brought it into the darkness...

^The flame inside...

^Amazing!!!! It is shining soooo brightly!!! :D

^Our lanterns!

^The moon is shining brightly... :)
