HAPPY DEEPAVALI!
I am back from Chalet, Downtown East! I had lots of fun! :) Let me tell you what have I done over the past few days! Also, later, i will be showing you a picture which i had just drawn!
About Chalet:
Day 1 (25 Oct)
I had to go swimming in the morning, thus, I woke up at 9am in the morning. Then, after swimming lessons, i went back home to have lunch. Afterwards, we made our way to Chalet. We had to queue for quite a long time (around 2.45pm). Finally, we got our keys (check-in) and made our way to the room we booked (block G).
Soon, our relatives came and then, my auntie, my brother, my mother, my cousin (iris) and me went 'shopping' in the supermarket for the things that we need for the BBQ that we were going to have that day. My cousin pushed one trolley while I pushed another. My annoying brother sat in my trolley, then climbed out and leaned on it. He then proceeded to annoy my cousin. We were both frustrated and furious! >:(
Around 6pm, we started the fire and BBQ. I helped out a lot by cooking the food. :) It was great fun! (however, there were still alot of left overs) After we had our fill, we went back to the room.
In the room, I played cards with my cousins, namely bridge, da lao er and blackjack. :) About 10.30pm, they all went home while my cousin, my grandmother and I stayed for the night.
**I played with my cousin till 1.15am!
Day 2
We (my cousin, grandmother and I) woke up at around 10am. After getting ready, we went to Downtown East to have breakfast at the Kopitiam there. :) I ate fried kway teow. Iris ate fish soup while my grandmother ate dry noodles with a bowl of soup (wanton mee). :) Halfway while I was eating, my grandmother asked if the teh-o which she asked me to buy had come. I gaped and explained that I thought that since she had the soup, she wouldn't want the teh-o. She shook her head and said that it was okay but I insisted and went to buy her teh-o as well as a can of Heaven and Earth Jasmine Green tea.
As I drank my tea, I read the wordings on the can. Apparently, I can win some money. I decided to try my luck and found out that I had won.................50 cents! haha.... :) Anyway, I still exchange the cap for 50 cents! :) The drinks stall owner must have thought that I was so money-minded.
Soon, my mother and brother came. My cousin, brother and I wanted to go back to the Chalet and my mother allowed me to do so. However, we were unable to walk to the room as it was raining. Thus, we waited for a while. When the rain had turned to a drizzle, we made a dash for it! :) And of cuz, reached our 'destination'.
During the evening, we went bowling. At first it was quite fun, but it soon turned boring.....
Since we still had left overs from yesterday's BBQ, we had another BBQ on that day! lol. This time, I didn't eat so much and went up to the room.
Very soon, my relatives had to leave (9pm). This time, 3 cousins, my grandmother and I stayed. But..... after bathing, the four of us (3 cousins and I) went to E!hub to watch High School Musical 3. We watched from 11.15pm to 1.20am! Then, we went back to the room and immediately hit the sack!
Day 3 (today :))
We woke up at 8.45am. We were tired due to today's (meaning watching HSM3 until 1.20am) events. We wanted to play cards but then, dunno for what reason my grandmother, who was abit cranky, went in a huff to the Kopitiam, upset as she was hungry and we were like 'hungry' gamblers. After finishing the game, we hurried to the Kopitiam, relieved that our grandmother was there, as we had hoped.
Around 10am, my auntie fetched us back home.
And that is the end of my stay in Chalet! :)
Anyway, I had drawn a picture. I thought that it was quite nice and outlined it with black pen and coloured it too! Enjoy! :)

continuation of story, short:
I fumbled for my keys in the darkness and after much difficulty, managed to open the door. Creak! My mom was startled momentarily and nearly jumped out of her skin. She muttered, “That door needs oiling badly.” I immediately slumped onto the sofa and was almost ready to enter Dreamland when my mom snapped, “No lying on the sofa with the shoes on!” She was obviously annoyed. I grumbled and sat up properly unwillingly. She furrowed her eyebrows and frowned. “This is not like my mother. She hasn’t has such a bad temper. Usually she will just let me off with a stern warning, unlike today. Maybe her period started?” I pondered. When my mom stood up and stomped towards the kitchen, I peered curiously at the blood stain on the sofa. That comfirmed my doubts. My mom was suddenly over my shoulder. She said in a dangerous manner, “Go up to bed NOW.” I knew that I had better obey her or else. I trudged up the staircase with a heavy heart.

Today, I had lessons with Miss Wales again. As usual, once the woman with the brightest smile stepped into the classroom, it will instantly liven up. It was like as if she was a fairy or something. That morning, she announced, “I have a project for all of you. You are supposed to find out the history of this school. Don’t belittle this small school. It has a very long history. I would like a detailed report of it. You will be working in groups…” After a few moments later, I heard, “Sue will be pairing with Roslina,” I winked at my friend, “as well as Thomas and James.” I frowned until wrinkles were quite apparent on my quite pretty face. Why must I be paired up with him?

hello! :D i must hurry be4 my dad comes back. will not write story 2day, sry!
anyway, i wanna tell u what happened today:
miss tan as usual got us something to do cuz psle is over. then, joanne, jennie, jing wen and i did a pencil holder using ice-cream sticks. we tried to compete each other and so far, jing wen was the first with 24 'stories'. then, after jing wen made a few more stories, christian said that he wanted it as it was to contribute to school or something for teachers. jing wen seemed reluctant but agreed unwillingly.
*at this point of time, my precious photo frame dropped cuz i shaked the table and it BROKED! argh! :'( i am like very angry today! >:(
anyway, continuing the story, jing wen made another one and was abit saddie.... then, i finished mine with about 24 stories.i was so proud and was eager to paint it with different colours! i put it on the table and then, i went to see rachel lim, vvn, kylin and adilah play jenga (spelling correct?) when i went back to my seat, the pencil holder was GONE! i asked miss tan and then she said that maybe christian took it.
my fury knew no bounds! i went to him and then i saw him holding a stack of pencil holders and was putting them into a locker. i asked him if he took mine and he said yes. he then asked if i wanted it back. i did not ans him and just went back into the class. miss tan then asked me if i wanted it back. i looked at her expression and knew that i could not refuse and then muttered nvm.
i was furious! i was already angry that jingwen's got taken away, now WITHOUT ASKING FOR MY PERMISSION, christian took mine! worse of all, jingwen contributed one but miss tan still want her to do another one! i feel that that was so unreasonable! D:
rachel lim, marilyn, grace and i went to compass point to buy some materials. at first, christian (who did nothing) and brendan teo went with us. then we told them that it was ok if they didn't want to tag along. so they left. then we went to vvn hse and did the wire stuff.
my hands still ache now! so we changed to a simpler method of wrapping the wire with colourfun plastic strings! :D then, we play.... poker cards!
heehee. but first we played blind mice and then played poker cards.
i won 2 times i think. one without the help of da lao er, one with :) lalala.... haha. anyway, we played cheat afterwards. grace and rachel were great cheaters and finished first. while i was a totally bad one and got almost half of the total amt of cards! but in this way, i can also find out who is cheating! a silver lining in every cloud - is it correct? i tink the cloud should be sumthing else.
anyway, we had a wonderful time and all went home at 5.40pm.
yikes! my family are coming home i gotta go! :P

hello, i feel like i am posting everyday liao.
haha! :D anyway, i cook bitter gourd for my grandma today! an accomplishment huh? :) lol. and porridge too! :)
i think i wrote quite a lot compared to what i did the past few days, haha. guess i have more time! :P
tomorrow, going to compass point to buy some materials for the project we(prefects) have to do for appreciation day. then, i also have to do power point presentation. literally, i am doing the WHOLE of the appreciation day projct lol, as well as jasmine and christian.
anyway, christian never do anything lol! i reluctantly go with him to buy the materials tomorrow lol! :(
the story! *i think i wrote longer this time! :
“Rise and shine, darling!” my mom literally shouted. I squinted my eyes and tried to adjust to the glaring rays of the magnificent sun. Afterwards, I got ready for school and immediately hurried off before my mom come up with the idea of following me to lecture James. My prediction was correct. Once I stepped out off the house, she said, “Wait for me. Let me go and have a chat with that James.” I replied nervously, “Don’t, mom! I’ll walk. Using the car gives out carbon monoxide. Save the earth, remember?” Before she protested, I was off like the wind.
Arriving at school, I saw my three friends motioning to me to go to them. Curious, I ambled to them and was barely a metre before I saw what was happening. James and Derrick was there, looking more impatient than ever. James sulked, “Your friends dragged us here, making a big hoo-ha over nothing!” “Why you little-” my friends had to prevent Serafina from kicking James in the face. In case you did not know, she was a black belt in karate. I said harshly, “I want to settle this once and for all. Stop harassing me, James and Derrick. Derrick, the other time when I was late for my date, it was all because of him,” I pointed at James, “He tried to kidnap me. Luckily, I escaped. Instead of asking me what happened, you accused me without finding out the truth. I have had it with you boys!” I left while Derrick glared at James furiously.
During break time, Rizz sat beside me, devouring her burger. She said in between munches, “Wow! You sure attract lots of guys, is it? Just now when you left, Derrick punched James and a fight started! Now, they are both in the sick bay with the nurse attending to their wounds.” I brushed it aside, not wanting to get involved in it. “Anyway, do you want to go shopping in the mall which we went yesterday?” I asked. She smiled and answered enthusiastically, “Sure! I will go ask the others!”
I had arrived at least two hours before I was supposed to meet my ‘sisters’. I strolled into the “Coffee Bean” and ordered and iced mocha. I then asked the person at the counter for Sam. She looked at me curiously but did as told, after all, customers first. Sam came out, sweating like a dog which had just ran three yards. He grinned, “Why are you here?” I told him today’s events and my feelings. “What would you have done if you were me?” I enquired. He shook his head and said, “I dunno.” I sighed and looked down at the floor. “But then, just tried to forget about it. It has passed and you have to let go to have a bright future.” He smiled, “A line from my favourite book.” I laughed and said, “Well, I guess so.” Then, I shopped alone in some fashion shops and after two long hours, my friends came.
They seemed surprised to see me there first. Roslina mentioned, “You are always the last from what I remembered.” I merely smiled and commented, “Let’s go shopping!” They nodded their heads and agreed.

Hello! sorry but my computer got abit of problem as it cannot display the colour and blah, so i cannot change the story's colour to purple, my fav colour, haha :D anyway, i went to tan tock seng hospital and changi general hospital today. reasons are as following:
tan tock seng hospital: visit grandpa
changi general hospital: my grandma got checkup
i cannot tell u all the details, heehee. but i brought my DS there as i was totally bored and nearly got motion sickness! sigh... i sat in the car at least 4 times and for a total of about 3 hours 30mins. sigh.... :( haha. the story of cuz but i cannot write a lot as i wanna go watch the channel 8 show at 9pm which started already! :(
I huddled on the comfy sofa with my pillow, grasping it tighter by the minute as my eyes were glued onto the television screen. The main character, who was an incredibly handsome young man of around twenty-five years old, was stuck in a factory which was making clones of people to create the greatest army ever. I was so absorbed in the movie that I did not hear the usual screeching of the tyres and the door’s creak. My mom was home.
“I heard everything from your friends,” she announced rather loudly but my attention was still on the handsome actor. She grumbled about how much children don’t respect parents and about how tough it was like to be a parent. Finally, I answered reluctantly, “Mom, please, I am watching a fantastic show and you just have to ruin it!” My mom made one of her quirky faces and I couldn’t resist the temptation to laugh out loud. A giggle escaped from my mom’s quivering lips and she laughed with me.
Then, I sat up and nearly screamed. “Mom! You made me miss the exciting part of the movie!” She shrugged her shoulders and put on the it-is-not-my-fault expression. I was furious and threw my pillow at her. She gasped. Then, cheekily, she placed her hands on her hips and merely mumbled, “Do you know what happens in a pillow fight?” I shook my head stubbornly. “I always win!” my mom guffawed. Thus, World War III began. Finally, just when the movie ended, World War III ended too and the soldiers, tired, went to bed.
I stared at the ceiling and frowned. Tomorrow was Monday and I have to attend school. Sigh…. Settling the problem about James and Derrick too… maybe I will just drop by the “Coffee Bean” and pour out my troubles to Sam too.

A giggle escaped from my mom’s quivering lips and she laughed with me.
Then, I sat up and nearly screamed. “Mom! You made me miss the exciting part of the movie!” She shrugged her shoulders and put on the it-is-not-my-fault expression. I was furious and threw my pillow at her. She gasped. Then, cheekily, she placed her hands on her hips and merely mumbled, “Do you know what happens in a pillow fight?” I shook my head stubbornly. “I always win!” my mom guffawed. Thus, World War III began. Finally, just when the movie ended, World War III ended too and the soldiers, tired, went to bed.
I stared at the ceiling and frowned. Tomorrow was Monday and I have to attend school. Sigh…. Settling the problem about James and Derrick too… maybe I will just drop by the “Coffee Bean” and pour out my troubles to Sam too.

anyway, today, i went to amk hub with: 1)rachel lim
2)rachel chia
3)patricia
we watched the movie 'painted skin' also known as '画皮'. is abit scary and touching, about romance, of cuz. got fighting and is quite exciting and touching. all of us got cry at least once, lol. :( sniff....
haha... then, when we went back to take bus 86. after the 3rd stop i thin, we saw some swings and i asked, "want to go play swing?" we hesitated for a moment then dashed down. to our utter horror, it was DRIZZLING! and the bus ran away. leaving us.
since, we had already got down, we just played on the swing in the rain for about 10mins then went back to the bus-stop as the rain was getting heavier. haha. then took the next 86 bus back home. **and rachel lim slept on the bus! saw her sleepin' :P
i dun feel like continuing the story lol. very tired. sorry................ :( but i will next time ;D haha...

hello! back! saw my new blogskin? i like very excited over it lol. a bit over-reacting! anyway, now chatting with LOTS of ppl : vivianne, kelly(sec 1 friend, bestie!), grace! very busy, lol! :P
miss tan gave us a photo frame today, painted it. later gotta paint the patterns. feel like putting my own varnish. :)
ad just now, my mother called to say that she forgot to cook the soup so I have to help her. th chicken meat was raw and a bit funny to touch, though a bit yucky, i think that such an experience if interesting and fun! :D
feel like drawing.... sigh... anyway, gotta write the story. lol:
Rizz smiled and suggested, “Let’s go to the new shop that just opened. I heard that the clothings are cheap and nice!” We all agreed and nodded our heads. Then, we made our way to our destination.
After 3 hours of running from one store to another, we were worn out. Beads of sweat glistened on our foreheads, except for Serafina’s of course. She was the perfect girl and was currently hanging out with the hottest guy in class. She was everyone’s ‘queen’ and was a pop princess. She would rather go for fashion than comfort. She would never ever miss a spot for her facial cream or powder.
She wrinkled her nose and groaned, “Oh no! Now all of you are following Sue’s example! Luckily, I am matured enough to control myself!” We rolled our eyes and sighed. She really was a drama queen! Soon, we decided to take an essential break at “Coffee Bean”. When we were settling down, we got on the subject of boys.
Roslina started, “Hey! Look at that cute blonde guy!” She stared and admired at him. Then Rizz continued, “Hmph! I remain true to Alphonse!” She had been dating Alphonse since last year, so far, nothing seem to break their relationship. Their love never wavered, how I wished I was like that too. At that particular moment, Rizz asked, “What about you and Derrick, Sue? I don’t see you two together these days.” At the mention of that name, I frozed. Pain seared through every inch of my body. I could not help it as tears came out as if a floodgate had opened. My ‘sisters’ were anxious. They asked the waiter for more tissue and comforted me like I was just a five year old child. I cried my heart out and finally, after what seemed like eternity, I stopped. The waiter asked kindly, “Would you like some more tissue?” I sniffed, “It’s ok, what’s your name? I shall recommend you to your boss. The waiter smiled, “I am Sam. I am most obliged to help you. Thank you for the recommendation!” I flashed a smile despite my sadness. Such a helpful person was so hard to come by. Afterwards, he said, “Whenever you are sad, you can always come here, I am most willing to lend a listening ear.” He bowed and left.
My friends then surrounded me and questioned, “What happened?” I blurted everything out between sobs. They were shocked and their mouths were wide agape. “What? James did that? I thought he looked quite gentle! I did not expect him to behave in such a manner! Why didn’t you tell us sooner?” Serafina exclaimed, astonished. I just mumbled, “I was scared and thought that I could just forget about everything, as if I had taken a potion which made me forget things. I am tired. I want to go home”
My friends understood how I was feeling and offered me a ride home. I accepted it gladly.

lol, jasmine asked me to do this quiz..... sigh and jennie asked me to change blogskin! argh! sorry, but i only managed to do this part of story:
I lay in my bed, trying to quench my thirst with my saliva. Failure…. That word rang in my head, reverberating in my ears… I was always an A* student, right from the start, but today, I did not manage to keep up with the pace of my teacher, something was bothering me and I know what it was. James and Derrick were making life difficult for me. They were like gravity-defying ghosts haunting me in my dreams or the so-called nightmares. I sighed, out of frustration and weariness. I was tired of this game, running and escaping… I want to end it and I will. Then, I slept with that thought in my head. Finally, I have a goal.
The great expanse of azure blue sky was dotted with magnolia white clouds. I woke up as I heard the chirping of the birds. I yawned and scratched my head. My mum’s head poked into my room and mumbled, “You should be tired. We partied for two whole hours last night. Wake up, though. You are going shopping with your friends, remember?” I then recalled that I was going on a shopping spree with my besties: Serafina, Roslina and Rizz. They always stood by my side, went through thick and thin with me. I got myself ready and took extra cash from my mum. I always go beyond my budget. I bade farewell and sprinted towards the shopping mall. I was late. Terribly late! When I reached the mall, I caught sight of my three pretty friends and waved. They noticed me. I went towards them and Serafina held her nose and muttered, “Poo! What a smell! You were late but you did not had to rush!” I grabbed a tissue out of my pocket and grinned embarrassingly, “Anyway, which store first?”

hihi, guess whose house i am at now? Jingwen's! she treat us to pizza hut and also, can get to use computer! :) lol, yuping beside me now, looking a bit shocked. and jingwen got let us see a documentary about sports science and then there will later be a guy who got his throat slashed by a ice-skating shoes in hockey. we were intending to serve marilyn a cup of ribena then! :)

hey hey, if u have not read the previous (about Sue knocking down a guy while ruching to the next class), pls do as at that time, my blog was private! :)
sigh... two more papers and i am free! with my nintendo ds! anyway, tis week going to see my cousin (just saw the world for a few months)! he just started to crawl i heard! he is absolutely adorable, angel-like...... :)
anyway, the story:
Then, the always talkative Joshua, whose parents are China-born, raised up his hand. The new teacher nodded her head at him. He asked, raising his eyebrown, “What do we call you?” She chuckled, “Oh yes, I forgotten to introduce myself! Silly me. You may call me Miss Wales. That was my father’s surname. He is quite famous. I don’t mean to brag but have you all heard of Thomas Wales?” Everybody nodded, even me, who was immediately listening in rapt attention. “He is the owner of the biggest bank here!” someone piped. “Yes. Apparently, my father became interested in banking ever since he was seven! My grandfather, who is my father’s father, bought him a piggy bank and that was what roused his interest.” At that precise moment, the bell rang. Time and tide wait for no man, indeed. Miss Wales groaned exaggeratingly, “Oh, there goes the bell! See you on Thursday!” We were then dismissed.

“Well, that seems like an interesting teacher!” my mum drank her piping hot coffee while I drank my usual organic orange juice. I wasn’t ready to get fat yet.
The both of us could not sleep due to the eminent storm whereby thunders and lightning flashed occasionally. Thus, we made our way down, however, unknown that the other party was awake as well. In the end, while I was opening the fridge door and saw the dark haired apparition, I screamed. My mum jumped in fright and also gasped, “Sue, what are you doing here?” I then calmed down and reached to this point of the conversation.
“Hmm, she seems so mysterious and charming. I think some boys like her,” I giggled uncontrollably, animating my face as euphoria engulfed me. My mum sighed.
I caught a glimpse of the grandfather clock. It chimed 12 times, signaling that it was midnight. Suddenly, a light bulb formed above my head. “Mum! Remember when our neighbours were singing karaoke in the middle of the night until we could not catch forty winks!” I grinned cheekily. She looked at me like I was some alien from outer space, “I am a dignified fine young lady, ok, I am not THAT young. But I am not going to ‘disgrace’ myself as an unfriendly neighbour!”
I said reluctantly, “Ok…. You go sit at a corner while I have all the fun, anyway, you won’t be able to sleep…” I was interrupted when she said, “On second thoughts, I want to join in!”
So, we partied and sang songs throughout the whole night while our neighbours muttered curses at us.

sigh... two more papers and i am free! with my nintendo ds! anyway, tis week going to see my cousin (just saw the world for a few months)! he just started to crawl i heard! he is absolutely adorable, angel-like...... :)
anyway, the story:
Then, the always talkative Joshua, whose parents are China-born, raised up his hand. The new teacher nodded her head at him. He asked, raising his eyebrown, “What do we call you?” She chuckled, “Oh yes, I forgotten to introduce myself! Silly me. You may call me Miss Wales. That was my father’s surname. He is quite famous. I don’t mean to brag but have you all heard of Thomas Wales?” Everybody nodded, even me, who was immediately listening in rapt attention. “He is the owner of the biggest bank here!” someone piped. “Yes. Apparently, my father became interested in banking ever since he was seven! My grandfather, who is my father’s father, bought him a piggy bank and that was what roused his interest.” At that precise moment, the bell rang. Time and tide wait for no man, indeed. Miss Wales groaned exaggeratingly, “Oh, there goes the bell! See you on Thursday!” We were then dismissed.

“Well, that seems like an interesting teacher!” my mum drank her piping hot coffee while I drank my usual organic orange juice. I wasn’t ready to get fat yet.
The both of us could not sleep due to the eminent storm whereby thunders and lightning flashed occasionally. Thus, we made our way down, however, unknown that the other party was awake as well. In the end, while I was opening the fridge door and saw the dark haired apparition, I screamed. My mum jumped in fright and also gasped, “Sue, what are you doing here?” I then calmed down and reached to this point of the conversation.
“Hmm, she seems so mysterious and charming. I think some boys like her,” I giggled uncontrollably, animating my face as euphoria engulfed me. My mum sighed.
I caught a glimpse of the grandfather clock. It chimed 12 times, signaling that it was midnight. Suddenly, a light bulb formed above my head. “Mum! Remember when our neighbours were singing karaoke in the middle of the night until we could not catch forty winks!” I grinned cheekily.
